Unbox

I tried to look for myself

in one of thirty-four boxes

they carry no labels

no color-coded tapes
no Fragile tags either
perhaps I threw them all away

Maybe I couldn't contain
in just one contraption of cardboard walls
or maybe I was never there
'cuz I couldn't box myself at all
